Today I rode my bicycle 16 miles. I road down 7th to Gravois to Arsenal, to Kingshighway, to Manchester, back to Broadway, South on Broadway for a while, turned around and went home.
I stopped by a music shop where I found a cheap but clean used electric guitar for $60. I am on a mission finally learn to play at least a few songs. No picture of the guitar yet. Sorry. Photos are taken with Nikon Cool Pix S01 camera. The camera is very handy because it is small, but I think the picture quality sucks.
What I think is called the Grove District has a number of interesting nightlife spots, other kinds of businesses and cool things to look at like this. That section of Manchester is on the verge of a comeback. However, the business district’s success depends on the prosperity of the surrounding neighborhood. I wonder who is moving out and who is moving in.”
I didn’t want to cross the bridges between Arsenal and Manchester on my bike, so I took a detour under the bridges. Look what I found.
The graffiti on the flood walls can be a simply an immature defacing of property, brilliant art and everything in between. I did a Google search and found that there is a whole stretch about a mile long or so of awesome art.
There are so many angles to the Arch. It will be a favorite subject this summer.
